Syncing with your Apple HealthKit is fairly straight forward using the in-app HealthKit wizard. Here is a step-by-step description of the process.
NOTE - Syncing with Apple HealthKit is not available with the free trial version of the App.
1. Starting from the Dashboard |
2. Choose The Menu |
3. Select Settings |
4. Click 'Connect' to start the Apple HealthKit Wizard |
5. Ok, let's get started |
6. Choose the fitness channels you want Apple HealthKit to sync with |
7. Review SAMPLE data for the categories you chose and click NEXT |
8. Review the categories you want to use with the Virtual Camino App and click Next when you finished. |
9. Choose the start date to use from your HealthKit logs (the default is today's date) |
10. Review your logs to make sure this is the way you want it. Go back if you need to and click next when you are ready. |
11. Last instructions - you can disconnect and reconnect at any time. Finally click 'Close Wizard' |
12. Note - the Apple HealthKit button now shows disconnect. Note the instructions; To disable HealthKit integration - Launch the settings app, go to the Health App select 'Data Access & Devices' and then disable. |
13. Your Progress will now reflect your distances.

14. Back to Dashboard to see where you are. |
15. To re-sync and update, swipe down in the Your Progress menu |
